and Crul counters with a two punch combo.
Kendali looks to land a left hand but Crul moved out of range nicely.
Kendali throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Kendali lands a left and a right that sends Crul crashing to the canvas! Kendali dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Arik Crul has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Crul avoids a series of strikes thrown by Kendali.

Filipovich leaves Fredericks with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Filipovich clobbers Fredericks with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fredericks is trying hard to land a takedown here. Filipovich sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fedor Filipovich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Fredericks.

Grip's coach down at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Grip's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and Pedroso counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Grip looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Pedroso!

Grip is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Pedroso is trying to escape and Grip transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Pedroso is forced to tap! Nice work there by Grip! Very nice indeed!

Turturro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lad was covering up waiting for the punch and Turturro finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Turturro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Turturro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Turturro controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Turturro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lad swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Turturro breaks Lad's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Turturro drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Turturro as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Lad screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Turturro! Nice submission victory there!

A very excited looking Lauro Turturro rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
