Patton is looking to slow Boo down with leg kicks.

Patton closes the distance and clinches.
Boo tries a knee to the head but Patton blocks it.

Patton has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Boo uses from the top position.
Boo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Patton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boo is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boo uses his free foot to push down on Patton's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Patton.

Patton felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Boo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Patton is desperately trying to improve his position but Boo has a good base and remains in mount.

Boo working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Patton turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Boo off and cradles Patton's limp body as Boo celebrates with his corner.

Jawbreak kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jawbreaker - by NK (Rukkus). Chrono Lock will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.
