Ithamar shoots for a takedown but Bison saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ithamar goes for a double leg but Bison avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bison continues to drive forward.

Bison is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bison is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ithamar couldn't care less - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cathaway scores with a hook to the body. Turturro takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Turturro walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Turturro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cathaway but Cathaway pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Cathaway feinted there with a counter leg kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Turturro has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Turturro tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cathaway defends well and Turturro ends up having to push Cathaway into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Cathaway lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

and Cathaway counters with a good low kick that Turturro was not able to check.
Jimmy Cathaway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Turturro.
Cathaway buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cathaway turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Cathaway fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turturro shoots in for a takedown but Cathaway shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Cathaway drops Turturro with a big left hand! Turturro is injured, injured bad! Cathaway jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
