The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann shoots for a takedown but Teichroew saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Teichroew shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Teichroew showed some decent athleticism there.
Teichroew is thwarting Mann's attempts to control the position.
Mann tries to get to full guard but Teichroew has control of the leg.

Teichroew seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

and Teichroew counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Mann down! Teichroew is looking to finish but Mann is intelligently defending himself.

Mann had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Teichroew is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mann Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Teichroew's back instead.

Mann looking to break Teichroew's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Teichroew remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Mann will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

The fighters circling - Franklin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Franklin scores with a push kick.
Franklin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Franklin fails with a takedown attempt.

Jenkins closes the distance and clinches up with Franklin, looking for a takedown. Jenkins pushes Franklin against the cage but Franklin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jenkins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Franklin as he avoids it easily.

No luck for Jenkins with that takedown attempt.
Jake Franklin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Jenkins.
Franklin cracks Jenkins with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Franklin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jenkins to stand back up!

It looks like Arthur Jenkins has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Franklin cracks Jenkins with a left hook right on the temple and Jenkins goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Franklin lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Jenkins is OK!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Connor Ryan.
Well Kazama has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
