The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lawrence manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lathander on his heels. He'll look to pass Lathander's guard now, I'm sure.
Lathander is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lawrence dives into side control.

Lawrence takes a little break here. Lathander wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Lathander is looking to reverse the position.
Lathander wants to control but Lawrence postures up.
Lawrence will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lawrence is working to tighten his grip on Lathander's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lathander has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lawrence is really squeezing tight and eventually Lathander passes out! Lawrence breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
