The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alford shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Alford closes the distance and clinches.
Alford tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Alford tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.

Jones rushes Alford and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
