Viriato's coach down at JAG Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Viriato's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Bubba Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alela connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Wright shoots for a double leg takedown but Alela sprawls well. He's pushed Wright's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wright moves in looking to clinch but Alela pushes him off.
Alela cracks Wright with a good jab.
Wright shoots in for a takedown but Alela shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
