DeMario Valdez decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Kovarov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barbosa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kovarov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcelo Barbosa will probably get the nod.

Kovarov has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Barbosa to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kovarov is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Barbosa pulls down on the head and he's put Kovarov to sleep! This one is all over!

Arlovski is backing up but Cyborg catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Arlovski covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Cyborg Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

A very excited looking Christian Cyborg rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Greene has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Greene and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
