Fourteen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mikhasevich was covering up waiting for the punch and Fourteen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Mylanta displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rockwell throws out the jab.

Fredrick shoots in looking for a takedown. James tries to sprawl out of it but Fredrick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. James manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fredrick has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
James with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fredrick dives in and grabs James's left leg, looking for a takedown. James pushes down on Fredrick's head and hops out.

James drops Fredrick with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fredrick looks back up at him and smiles so James waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Fredrick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fredrick tries a head kick but it misses.
James has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fredrick is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Fredrick walks straight into a right hand from James - that's dropped him! James jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Fredrick from any more punishment! Fredrick complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Gerrald James decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
