The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Rumper pushes him off.
Rumper moves out of range as Diaz throws a body kick.
Rumper clobbers Diaz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rumper does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
An inside leg kick from Rumper misses.
Rumper wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Diaz slips a jab from Rumper.
Rumper fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Diaz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rumper misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rumper misses with a low kick.
No luck for Diaz with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rumper throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Diaz on the side of the head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rumper darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Rumper lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively.

Diaz dives in for a single leg takedown but Rumper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Diaz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rumper defends well and Diaz ends up having to push Rumper into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dann just misses with a punch to the body.
Dann throws a front kick aimed at Reaves's knee but Reaves avoids it well.
Barry Reaves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dann explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Dann throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Reaves drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Reaves won't allow Dann to sweep him here.
Reaves tries to free his leg and advance position but Dann is retaining full guard.

Reaves has his foot on Dann's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dann works his way back into a safe position though.
Dann sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reaves's guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dann in particular looking to stall.
