Horrible takedown attempt by Oost or perhaps it was just good defense by Bardamont, which made it look bad.
Bardamont fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Oost on the side of the head.
Bardamont connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Oost's hands.
Bardamont lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Oost backs up against the cage.
Bardamont ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bardamont connects with a body shot that sends Oost's belly button to the back.
Oost is breathing heavily.
Bardamont pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Oost back to the cage. Bardamont follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Guille Oost has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oost get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Oost stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Bardamont runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Myers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brutus Maximus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ashraf Hassan!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Maximus. Hassan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hassan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hassan pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Maximus misses the jab.
Hassan lands with an overhand left.
Nice shot by Maximus.
A combination from Maximus does no damage.
Sloppy strikes from Maximus. Those never looked like landing.
Hassan throws a shot from downtown. Maximus moves away and avoids it.

Maximus feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hassan sprawling to the canvas! Hassan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Maximus finish him?!

Hassan is rocked!

It looks like Ashraf Hassan has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hassan walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Maximus swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brutus Maximus!
In his post fight interview, Brutus Maximus started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
