Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jordan cracks Atari with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Atari looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jordan finish him?

Jordan is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Atari flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Atari is out cold! Jordan holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ripa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lopez finds it's way round the side to connect with Ripa's head.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Augusto Pinochet!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt clobbers Pinochet with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Augusto Pinochet has been cut.

Pinochet clinches.
Schmidt working aggressively here.
Pinochet fails to pull guard.
Pinochet is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Schmidt to keep the fight standing.
Schmidt lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Schmidt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pinochet moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pinochet tries to clinch up.
Pinochet tries to close the distance and clinch but Schmidt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Schmidt lands a nice shot that snaps Pinochet's head back.

Schmidt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pinochet moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Schmidt keeps the fight on the outside.

Pinochet closes the distance and clinches.
Schmidt fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Pinochet fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Franklin James White Schmidt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Augusto Pinochet.

Pinochet jumps guard but Schmidt stands there with Pinochet around his waist. Pinochet gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pinochet has his foot on Schmidt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Schmidt works his way back into a safe position though.

Pinochet is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Schmidt rolls with it to try and escape but Pinochet cranks on the arm and Schmidt is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
