The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kuiper has Velouria up against the cage in a clinch.

Kuiper is fighting off a takedown attempt but Velouria is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kuiper to the mat. Kuiper regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morgan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Monsoon to his feet.
Monsoon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Morgan can pounce on him.
Morgan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Monsoon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Horrible takedown by Monsoon or perhaps it was just good defense by Morgan which made him look bad.

A shot to the body from Monsoon misses
and Morgan counters with a straight right hand.
Oh Monsoon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Monsoon is looking to wear down Morgan with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Monsoon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Morgan.
Monsoon seems to have got his legs back now.
Morgan misses with a hook. Monsoon ducked under it nicely.
Monsoon throws a combination that misses

and Morgan counters with a left hand that sends Monsoon to the canvas!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Monsoon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Monsoon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Monsoon tries to get out of the position.
