The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grundmann fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Road to the ground. Grundmann is now in Road's guard.
Grundmann looking to pass the guard.
Road not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Grundmann is pushing down on Road's leg trying to pass to half guard. Road is fighting to maintain full guard but Grundmann has managed to sneak the leg through.

Grundmann is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Road is staying active underneath Grundmann, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Grundmann might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Road haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Grundmann is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Road has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Grundmann is working away from the top position though.

Road is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Road is desperately trying to improve his position but Grundmann has a good base and remains in mount.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mcgraugh lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Will Thomas has been cut.
Mcgraugh has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas in the buildup to the fight.
Thomas doesn't manage to clinch there - Mcgraugh circles away.

Thomas gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mcgraugh.
Mcgraugh lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Thomas falls backwards - clearly groggy! Mcgraugh dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
