Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Haze (ranked 1073 p4p, 114 weight class) and Brian Jones (ranked 957 p4p, 103 weight class). Jones has chosen Take my hand as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brian Jones was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Haze tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Haze.

Haze has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hart Family Dungeon in the buildup to the fight.

Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Haze looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ricard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kenway is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ricard works to advance to full mount. Kenway defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Kenway sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ricard is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Edward Kenway is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
