St Peter shoots for a double leg takedown but Yoritomo sprawls well. He's pushed St Peter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
St Peter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yoritomo manages to avoid it.

Messer's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lumberjacks march-by Conway Twittie. Smashterov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rock you like a hurricane-by THE SCORPIONS. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

After the fight, Zangief Smashterov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
