The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedersen keeps the fight on the outside.

Silva tries to land a front kick but Pedersen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pedersen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pedersen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pedersen is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Pedersen jumps guard but Silva stands there with Pedersen around his waist. Pedersen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Pedersen. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The fighters circle, before Silva throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Pedersen's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Silva lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
