The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeferson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Macarron checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Macarron tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

and Macarron counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Macarron throws a strike but Jeferson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Macarron looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jeferson is one step ahead there.
Macarron is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jeferson is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Macarron wants to sweep but no luck.
Macarron should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jeferson wants to stand but Macarron has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Macarron is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Jeferson lands a big head kick that sends Macarron tumbling to the mat! Jeferson takes a step backwards and waves Macarron back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Chacarron Macarron has been cut.
A slapping body kick lands there for Jeferson.
Jeferson moves to clinch but Macarron breaks away

and Macarron counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Macarron.
Macarron throws a strike but Jeferson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Macarron wants to improve his position but instead Jeferson has moved into half guard.

Jeferson decides to stand up.
Macarron swats away the attempt to clinch by Jeferson.
Macarron keeps the fight on the outside.

Jeferson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Macarron, pushing him back against the cage.
Jeferson is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Macarron changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jeferson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Jeferson throws a solid leg kick but Macarron takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jeferson.
Jeferson tries to clinch but Macarron is having none of it.
Whack! Jeferson lands a heavy head kick that drops Macarron. The ref tackles Jeferson to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Macarron was done.

Bobby 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Banner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bobby seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Banner for as long as he can get away with.
Banner really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bruce Banner will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bobby has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Banner is in all sorts of trouble here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bobby is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Bobby !

A determined Marley Bobby didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!

Lemonstein will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Lemonstein holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Lemonstein.
Lemonstein lands a right hand that snaps the head of Watabe backwards.
Watabe drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lemonstein pulls his leg out and moves away.
Lemonstein throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Watabe tries to keep at a distance but Lemonstein has taken the fight into the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lemonstein creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Watabe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lemonstein walks away with a smile on his face. Watabe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Larry Lemonstein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sakura Watabe.
Watabe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lemonstein pinned against the cage. Lemonstein gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Watabe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lemonstein lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Watabe circles away quickly and effectively.
Lemonstein stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lemonstein wants it to stay on the feet.
Lemonstein went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
A slapping body kick lands there for Lemonstein.
Lemonstein throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Watabe colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Lemonstein as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Watabe is left battered and dazed whilst Lemonstein and his camp cheer!

Sakura Watabe spoke after the fight, saying 'I'm enjoying your wife tonight!'.
