Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terry Josefi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Popeye Theeh!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Josefi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Theeh tries to avoid it but Josefi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Theeh to the ground. Theeh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Josefi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Josefi shoots in for a double leg but Theeh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Josefi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Theeh is fending him off so far but Josefi persists. Nope, Theeh circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Josefi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Josefi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Theeh tries to clinch but Josefi is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Theeh wants to take the fight to the mat but Josefi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Josefi tightens his grip and picks Theeh up, before dumping him to the ground. Theeh manages to land in guard.

Theeh looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Josefi is defending well. Theeh quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Josefi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Theeh celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Banks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Castilano.

Castilano shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Banks eats them both and turns towards Castilano to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Castilano misses with an uppercut. Banks saw that one coming.
Castilano just misses with a punch to the body.
Banks takes a swing at Castilano's ribcage but misses.
Castilano avoids the body shot from Banks.

Castilano drops Banks with a huge uppercut! Banks drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Castilano is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
