Geadais takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Leroy Hugo (ranked 3629 p4p, 369 weight class) and Salah Ad Din (ranked 22458 p4p, 624 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hugo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eminem - Lose Yourself. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Hugo is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hugo tries to bum rush Ad Din with a series of wild strikes but Ad Din uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hugo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hugo throws a nice looking combination but Ad Din bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ad Din clips Hugo with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Hugo a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
Hugo walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Hugo is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Salah Ad Din!
After the fight, Salah Ad Din was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Leroy Hugo spoke after the fight, saying 'It is not about how many times you win, but about how many times you can come back for more.'.
