James throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McCoist was covering up waiting for the punch and James finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've been hearing good reports from James's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Slaughter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pertti on the side of the head.

Slaughter takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Slaughter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pertti eats them both and turns towards Slaughter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Pertti lands a big right hook! Slaughter looks hurt but is still standing! Pertti lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Slaughter falls down and Pertti dives in with a huge hammer fist! Slaughter's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Pertti runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
