The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erak blocks a leg kick.
Burns shoots in but Erak avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Erak rushes Burns and presses him up against the cage.

Erak tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Burns just stands there and leans against the cage.
Erak jumps guard but Burns stands there with Erak around his waist. Erak gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Erak tries to score a body lock takedown but Burns shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Vincent Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sime Erak.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Erak is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Burns gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Burns drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Erak bucks up and tries to throw Burns off but instead Burns has got his back!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Burns sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Erak taps out!
