Drago is nestled in close to Tua, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Tua wants to control but Drago is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Tua really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drago. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Edmonds kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Frankie Smith - Double Dutch Bus. Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stojan Kostic (ranked 2177 p4p, 256 weight class) and Whorely Alvarez (ranked 4035 p4p, 405 weight class). Kostic comes into the arena with Skabo - Mare batice blaring out of the sound system. Whorely Alvarez struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez swats away the attempt to clinch by Kostic.
Kostic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Alvarez lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kostic takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Alvarez clinches.
Alvarez can't find room to land a body shot as Kostic controls the action.

Alvarez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kostic has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kostic jumps guard but Alvarez turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Alvarez lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kostic.
Kostic blocks a body shot from Alvarez.
Alvarez is leaning against Kostic and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kostic is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Alvarez to keep the fight standing.
Alvarez digs a right hand underneath Kostic's ribcage. Kostic let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Kostic jumps guard and drags Alvarez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Alvarez is sitting in close to Kostic's body. Kostic has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Alvarez is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Alvarez is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kostic.
