The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooke changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davies tries to avoid it but Cooke manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davies to the ground. Davies escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Davies scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Davies passes into side control, despite Cooke's attempt to control the position.
Davies is looking to take a break and control but Cooke is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cooke gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
