With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Sullivan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camara takes one to the chin there.
Camara goes for a double leg but Sullivan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sullivan continues to drive forward.
Sullivan changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Camara dives in for a single leg takedown but Sullivan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Camara is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sullivan.

It looks like Azizi Camara has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sullivan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Camara shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Camara looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Azizi Camara. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Camara shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sullivan as he jumps to the side.

John Sullivan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Camara shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sullivan sprawls well. Sullivan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Camara gets slowly back to his feet.
Sullivan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sullivan misses with an uppercut.
Sullivan throws a body kick that misses.
Camara feinted with a counter takedown.
Sullivan tries to score with a low kick but Camara moves his leg out of the way.
Camara changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sullivan tries to avoid it but Camara manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sullivan to the ground. Sullivan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sullivan throws a shot from downtown. Camara moves away and avoids it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slow jab from Sullivan misses its intended target.
Sullivan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Camara tries to counter with a takedown but Sullivan is quick to defend against it.
Sullivan tries a head kick but it misses.
Camara moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Sullivan swings for the body but Camara moves out of range.

Camara drives through with a takedown into Sullivan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Camara drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Camara as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Sullivan screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Camara! Nice submission victory there!
