The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huber shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Flannery napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Huber is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Flannery is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Huber can't hide his disappointment, as Flannery celebrates the victory.

Kyle throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Alviso dives in for a single leg takedown but Kyle sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A little feinted left hand from Kyle on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Chrys Kyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Alviso counters with a three punch combo that has Kyle backing up. Kyle nods at Alviso to acknowledge the strikes.

It looks like Jerome Alviso has been cut.
A combination from Alviso does no damage.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kyle! Alviso is out on his feet! Kyle rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Alviso is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Alviso is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
