The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naikkorine shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pearsons pinned against the cage. Pearsons gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Pearsons feints and as Naikkorine raises his hands in defense, Pearsons changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Naikkorine is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Pearsons looking to sit in guard and control but Naikkorine gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pearsons controls Naikkorine momentarily but Naikkorine frees himself.
Naikkorine slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Naikkorine's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Pearsons is trying to control the position but Naikkorine postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Naikkorine trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Naikkorine has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Naikkorine closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Naikkorine lands in his opponent's guard.

Pearsons is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Pearsons fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Naikkorine to the ground. Pearsons is now in Naikkorine's guard.

Naikkorine wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Pearsons looking to sit in guard and control but Naikkorine gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Naikkorine controls from within his opponent's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pearsons wants to get back to his feet but Naikkorine is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Pearsons rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Naikkorine moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Naikkorine tries to sprawl but Pearsons drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Pearsons stalling away here and it's allowed Naikkorine to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Pearsons would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Naikkorine is pulling down on Pearsons's head. It's preventing any offense from Pearsons, at least for the moment.

Pearsons is sitting in close to Naikkorine's body. Naikkorine has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pearsons is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pearsons is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Naikkorine.

Billeray seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Billeray is working for a kimura but Smith is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are battling for position here. Smith manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Billeray wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.

Harada's jab looks to have found its range, popping Durruti under the eye.
Durruti listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Harada throws an overhand right that lands on Durruti's shoulder, as Durruti tries to avoid the shot.
Harada lands a nice shot to the body.
Harada walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Durruti checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Harada looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Harada thuds a left hand into Durruti's body.
Harada misses with a looping left.

Harada clinches up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Harada fails to land.
Durruti digs a right hand into Harada's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Harada's gas tank.

Toshi Harada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Durruti goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A big right from Harada misses.
Harada is looking to slow Durruti down with leg kicks.
Durruti throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Harada counters with a thumping low kick.
Harada pivots, looking for a leg kick but Durruti is out of range and Harada settles back down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Harada throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Durruti takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Durruti is looking to slow Harada down with leg kicks.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Durruti.
Durruti throws the kick towards the body but Harada avoids it.
A little jabbing left from Harada on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Durruti.
Harada throws a jab but it's blocked by Durruti.
Durruti drops his hands momentarily and Harada takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Harada has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Harada's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Durruti moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Durruti scores with a shot to the body.
Harada clobbers Durruti with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Harada misses with a hook
and Durruti counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Harada fails in his attempt to clinch.
Harada lands a really nice looking cross but Durruti seems unphased.
Durruti looks to land a combination. Harada sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Harada is rocked!
Harada feints a jab promting Durruti to slip. Harada then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Durruti slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Harada is still on wobbly legs! Can Durruti finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harada tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Durruti scores with a counter punch that sends Harada to the canvas! Durruti smells blood - he's punishing Harada with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Harada has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buenaventura Durruti!
After winning the bout, Buenaventura Durruti thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Toshi Harada spoke after the fight, saying 'What a joke. I am here to develop my skills, it is a shame you have older experienced fighters run by gutless managers hiding in QFC looking for mismatches to get easy wins. Gutless, pathetic losers!'.
