The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Zola misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Zola. Ronaldo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zola throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
A thudding body kick lands there by Zola!
Ronaldo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zola as he jumps to the side.
Zola looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ronaldo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zola.
As Zola backs off Ronaldo throws a huge counter combo but Zola manages to avoid it all.
Ronaldo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ronaldo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A nice leg kick lands there from Zola.
Ronaldo shoots for a takedown but Zola saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Gorgon Zola has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pele Ronaldo.

Gorgon Zola is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ronaldo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zola's waist but Zola gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ronaldo off to one side.
As Ronaldo backs away, Zola returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Ronaldo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Zola counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Pele Ronaldo has been cut.

Zola drops Ronaldo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ronaldo looks back up at him and smiles so Zola waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ronaldo is aggressively charging in as Zola backs up avoiding any damage. Zola tosses out a jab and Ronaldo runs right into it face first! Ronaldo is out cold! Zola dropped down on all fours and is barking in Ronaldo's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gorgon Zola!
Gorgon Zola bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

Moru comes to the cage accompanied by slam dunk opening theme song. Tonon has chosen What About Now as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonon shoots in for a takedown but Moru shows good takedown defense.
Tonon avoids the head kick by Moru.
Moru throws a sloppy head kick and Tonon moves out of range easily.
Moru tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Tonon moves into range and clinches up with Moru.
Moru misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tonon.
Moru tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tonon avoids it.
Tonon is working for takedown but Moru is calmly controlling the position for now.
Moru cracks Tonon with a nice body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batra throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Batra's jab looks to have found its range, popping Uzo under the eye.
Batra moves in looking to clinch but Uzo pushes him off.
Uzo is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Batra lands a left and a right that send Uzo crashing to the mat, dazed. Batra thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Batra looks to land a left hand but Uzo moved out of range nicely.
Uzo is still on wobbly legs! Can Batra finish him?
Uzo gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Batra gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Uzo is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
