Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tokkie Terblanche (ranked 3730 p4p, 54 weight class) and Flying Almighty Askren (ranked 7339 p4p, 101 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Terblanche might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Going Down. Flying Almighty Askren told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Laranja tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Collins was well out of range. Poor timing from Laranja.
Laranja takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Collins cracks Laranja with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Collins drives through with a takedown into guard.

Collins content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Laranja has locked up a guillotine! Laranja's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Collins is holding on here and Laranja must be using up a lot of energy. Collins has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Laranja gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
