The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard misses with a series of wild punches.

An attempted straight right counter from Gone misses the target.
Gone has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ogre Inc. in the buildup to the fight.
Howard throws a hook to the side of Gone's head but Gone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Howard falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gone counters with a straight right hand.
Howard misses with a jab to the body
and Gone counters with a left to the body.

and Gone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Howard misses with an uppercut
and Gone counters with a thumping low kick.

Gone connects with an inside leg kick.
Gone connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That kick from Gone tenderised Howard's leg. Howard is trying to keep his angry face on.
A head kick misses from Howard.
A chopping leg kick lands by Gone.
Howard shoots in but Gone avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Gone closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Howard did well to prevent Gone getting side control.
Howard scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Gone manages to mount him!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gone stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

enabling Gone to counter with a crisp jab.

Gone flashes Howard a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Howard's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Howard crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Gone punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
