The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burgundy rushes Minaj and presses him up against the cage.

Burgundy is pressed up against the cage. Minaj has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Burgundy down to the mat. Burgundy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Minaj shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Minaj misses with a takedown attempt - Burgundy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicholas Minaj. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Burgundy is trying to trip Minaj. He has hold of a leg but Minaj is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Burgundy persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Minaj definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Burgundy won't allow Minaj to sweep him here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Minaj is on top in guard.

Minaj drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Minaj as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Burgundy screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Minaj! Nice submission victory there!
