Murrizzo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jones quickly recovers to half guard.

Murrizzo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brown cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Lazzez is looking to improve his position but Brown isn't that keen on the idea.
Brown lands a big shot there that rocks Lazzez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Brown postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lazzez looks a forlorn figure.
We've been hearing that Brown has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
