The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alomar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gracie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Alomar somewhat.
Alomar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it.
Alomar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gracie pinned against the cage. Gracie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Alomar shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense.
And Gracie tries to counter it with a takedown but Alomar pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Well Gracie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

As Pao tries to get set, Shlemenko tries to push him back and clinch up but Pao manages to avoid the attempt.

Pao is nestled in close to Shlemenko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Pao looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Shlemenko can't hide his disappointment, as Pao celebrates the victory.

In his post fight interview, Iron Dong Pao started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
