Tantalau pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Abbasov taps out and this one is all over!

Breakum has his foot on Po's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Po works his way back into a safe position though.

Breakum is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Po has his hands clasped together but Breakum extends and breaks Po's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Breakum.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Power crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Loco - the referee stops the clock and Power gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Loco. Power manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparling changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Badass looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Badass is breathing heavily.
Sparling wants to lay and pray for a moment but Badass keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sparling tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Sparling is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Badass knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Badass tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sparling wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sparling tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sparling has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sparling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Badass. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Badass manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Badass is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Sparling is tapping! Great win for Badass!

A less than humble Total Badass misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Bower takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bower lands a nice hook to Daugherty's body. Daugherty takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Daugherty definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Daugherty misses with a jab to the body
and Bower counters with a left to the body.

and Bower connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Bower counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Daugherty gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bower's coach down at Blanc Fitness Academy - 180$/week was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bower's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Daugherty is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Bower doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Daugherty crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Daugherty's bad books for that mishap!
