The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kameda darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lewis looks to land a combination but Kameda avoids it well.
Kameda stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lewis.

Lewis rushes Kameda and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lewis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lewis lands a nice uppercut.
Kameda tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Lewis misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kameda.

Lewis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

It looked like Kameda wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Lewis stalks Kameda and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kameda's face. Kameda staggers backwards, shaken.
Kameda bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lewis's head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lewis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kameda uses from the top position.

Koshi Yamawanka told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Huga lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
