Pinsinchai tries to score a power double leg takedown but Benitoy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pinsinchai somewhat.

Well Gaolathe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Mazepin (ranked 1589 p4p, 192 weight class) and Oskar Schmidt (ranked 2163 p4p, 230 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazepin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Schmidt pinned against the cage. Schmidt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mazepin wants to clinch up but Schmidt keeps it at a distance.

Schmidt closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Schmidt lands in his opponent's guard.

Mazepin kicks Schmidt off and gets to his feet.
Mazepin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Mazepin is fighting off a takedown attempt but Schmidt is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mazepin to the mat. Mazepin regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mazepin is looking for a triangle here but Schmidt uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
