Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Sue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Otong Dong!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Dong fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sue sprawls well initially but Dong persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Sue tries to kick Dong off in order to stand up. Dong Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Dong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sue keeps working.
Sue struggling a bit here.
Dong is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sue tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dong wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Dong blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Sue has Dong pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dong manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Dong can't find room to land a body shot as Sue controls the action.

Sue is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dong can do to turn this around?

Dong tries to work over Sue's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A short body shot lands from Dong as the two fighters clinch.
Sue tries to land knees in the clinch but Dong avoids the damage to the body.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sue drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dong gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Dong pushes Sue back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Sue misses with a punch to the body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Tom Sue will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Sue is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sue doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Dong prevents a body shot from Sue.
Dong misses with a hook to the ribs.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Sue.
Dong can't find room to land a body shot as Sue controls the action.
Sue lands a shot to the body.

Sue lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Sue decides to stand up.
Sue doesn't manage to clinch there - Dong circles away.

Sue has managed to clinch.
Dong tries a body shot but Sue blocks it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sue, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
