Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tim Logo (ranked 4459 p4p, 328 weight class) and Stan Dickinson (ranked 3645 p4p, 278 weight class). Dickinson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dizzee Rascal - Fix up look sharp. On his way into the cage it seems that Tim Logo has been attacked by a crazed fan! With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aslanbek Barayev!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barayev darts in trying to clinch
and Eugen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Barayev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Eugen.
Barayev is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Barayev throws a sloppy head kick and Eugen moves out of range easily.
Eugen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A bone on bone clash there as Eugen blocks the leg kick.
Eugen connects with a nice looking jab.
Barayev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Eugen throws an overhand right that lands on Barayev's shoulder, as Barayev tries to avoid the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aslanbek Barayev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Barayev is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Barayev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Eugen defends it easily.

Barayev has his foot on Eugen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Eugen works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Our spies down at at Rabid Dog inform us that Barayev has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

You can see the frustration on Barayev's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Barayev tries to buck Eugen off but Eugen is having none of it.

Eugen decides to stand back up. Eugen steps back and let's Barayev get back to his feet.
Eugen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Barayev eats them both and turns towards Eugen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Eugen circles away from the clinch attempt.

Eugen fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Barayev has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Eugen uses from the top position.
Barayev is trying to hold Eugen in close to prevent damage but Eugen has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barayev is in trouble now - Eugen has advanced to mount!

Barayev is trying to pull guard but Eugen turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Eugen lands with a left to the head.
Barayev tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Eugen just stands there and leans against the cage.

and Eugen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Barayev thinking.
Barayev looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Barayev tries to clinch but Eugen is having none of it.

Barayev moves forwards but Eugen connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Barayev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Eugen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
As Barayev tries to get set, Eugen tries to push him back and clinch up but Barayev manages to avoid the attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Barayev counters with a stiff right hand.
Barayev wants to clinch but Eugen slips to the side
and Eugen counters with a straight right hand.

Barayev is rocked!
Barayev gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Eugen gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

An out of breath Martin Eugen thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
