Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Busul (ranked 1619 p4p, 106 weight class) and Tommy Reed (ranked 2469 p4p, 149 weight class). Busul comes into the arena with Damian Marley - Road to Zion ft. Nas blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Reed's choice of entrance music: Tupac ft 50 Cent - Get Up Remix. Tommy Reed is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed looks for a takedown but Busul sprawls well.
Busul was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Reed scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We've been hearing good reports from Busul's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vieira will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vieira shoots in for a double leg but Zulu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vieira shoots in for a takedown but Zulu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Shaka Zulu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikolas Vieira.

Zulu went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Brian Moser decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
