The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krup has a takedown stuffed.
No joy there for Voller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Krup misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Voller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Krup shoots in but Voller avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rudi Voller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jizzy Krup.

Krup is persistently looking for the submission but Voller is defending it well.

Jizzy Krup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Voller stalks Krup and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Krup's face. Krup staggers backwards, shaken.

That was a close round but I would say that Rudi Voller will probably get the nod.

Krup swings around for an armbar but Voller sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Krup's guard.

Voller postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Krup is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Voller, into his guard.
Krup sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Voller's guard.
Krup is controlling the pace.

Krup is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Voller is just riding it out for now. Krup eventually gives up the hold.

Krup is looking to pass Voller's guard but actually Voller recovers to full guard.
