The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Alexandrov looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Alexandrov throws a hook to the side of Lee's head but Lee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Lee ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lee half committed to a counter leg kick.
Lee throws a hook but Alexandrov avoids it easily.
Alexandrov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lee tries to sprawl but Alexandrov drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Alexandrov connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple.
Lee is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Alexandrov scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are battling for position here. Lee manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Hop is countered with a crisp right hand from Monteiro that sends him to the canvas! Monteiro follows him to the mat into side control.

It looks like Hip Hop has been cut.

Monteiro has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Hop connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hop throws a leg kick but Monteiro sees it coming and checks it nicely.

and Monteiro counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Hop out cold! What a finish! Monteiro is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
