The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith gets caught napping as Gordo dives in and scores a takedown. Smith manages to retain guard.

Smith has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gordo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Eddy Gordo was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hax Molloway (ranked 6191 p4p, 565 weight class) and Dennis Avdic (ranked 5776 p4p, 544 weight class). Hax Molloway had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Hax Molloway has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

That was a close round but I would say that Karl Henriksen will probably get the nod.

Vidal scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Vidal gets caught flat footed, as Burrows shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Burrows makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Burrows lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Burrows is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Vidal has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Burrows should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vidal has tightened it up now! Burrows should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
