The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omni avoids the head kick by Punkass.
Punkass swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Omni moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Punkass pushes Omni up against the cage in a clinch.
Punkass breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A leg kick checked by Omni.
Punkass thumps Omni with a low kick.
Punkass tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Soral Punkass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Omni closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Punkass did well to prevent Omni getting side control.
Omni throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Omni wants to work for an arm triangle but Punkass is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Omni is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Punkass is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
