Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mr Ab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilya Sapursky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ab kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Echidna's Arf part 2 . Sapursky has chosen Imperial March as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapursky gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ab.
Sapursky keeps the fight on the outside.
Sapursky tries to move into range but Ab moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Matsumoto looks up at the clock and then as Takanori takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Matsumoto smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Matsumoto is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Takanori is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Takanori is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Matsumoto asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Matsumoto has hold of Takanori's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Takanori seems comfortable defending it but Matsumoto has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Takanori is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Takanori is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Matsumoto couldn't care less - he's delighted!
