Blues has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Smith has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Blues swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Smith is now in Blues's guard. A big mistake from Blues there, giving up the dominant position!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blues is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smith defends well.

Blues is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Smith is aware though and is defending well.
Smith is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Smith has gone for a leg lock! Blues slips out almost immediately though and dives into Smith's guard.
