The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Djorkaeff tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maxwell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Djorkaeff somewhat.
Djorkaeff tries to clinch but Maxwell is having none of it.
Djorkaeff shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Maxwell pinned against the cage. Maxwell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Maxwell gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Maxwell tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Djorkaeff avoids it.
Djorkaeff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Maxwell walks away with a smile on his face. Djorkaeff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Djorkaeff got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maxwell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Djorkaeff has managed to get both his arms back between Maxwell's legs - danger averted.

Kazuki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Robida's head backwards.

Kazuki throws a hook but Robida blocks it.
Kazuki misses with a straight right.
Kazuki uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Robida.

Robida throws a hook to the side of Kazuki's head but Kazuki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Danny Robida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
