Pi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Carwin. Carwin obviously looking to wear him down.
Carwin leaves Pi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Carwin has managed to clinch.
Carwin drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Carwin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Carwin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Carwin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Pi throws a big right hand that misses.
Carwin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Carwin wants to improve his position but instead Pi has moved into half guard.

Pi thows a huge punch but Carwin dodges it nicely.
Carwin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pi's back!
