Daniels lands with an uppercut that bounces Aripua off the cage and back into range.
Daniels misses with the combination.

Daniels uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Aripua.
Daniels lands with a nice combination. Aripua backs away looking to recover.
Dan Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aripua unleashes a big counter combination but Daniels bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Aripua swings around for an armbar but Daniels sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Aripua's guard.

Our spies down at at Cozad MMA Sydney inform us that Aripua has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Daniels drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Aripua right on the button. Aripua goes down! Daniels follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Daniels gets the win via TKO!

Kaikoa Aripua was interviewed post fight and said 'Unfortunately i could not pull off the victory i was hungry for, but all credit goes to the man who beat me, but one day we will face again and god will grant me the strength to overcome and achive victory '.

Knox feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits McRobbies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Knox throws a right and a left that McRobbie avoids nicely.
Knox scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Donk. Knox catches McRobbie right on the button with a cross.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McRobbie has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McRobbie lands a nice hook to Knox's body. Knox takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Knox was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tobb Le Tobb (ranked 2323 p4p, 241 weight class) and Joao Cajo Branca (ranked 1589 p4p, 183 weight class). Branca is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Run the Jewels. Joao Cajo Branca told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Aingeru throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Aingeru drops Di Lodovico with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Di Lodovico looks back up at him and smiles so Aingeru waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Aingeru feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Di Lodovico sprawling to the canvas! Di Lodovico rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Aingeru finish him?!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aingeru moves in close and cracks Di Lodovico with a massive right hand! Di Lodovico, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Aingeru!
