The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gadar tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.

Gadar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Johnson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Johnson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Gadar will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Johnson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Gadar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back!
Johnson manages to reverse the position and now he's in Gadar's guard. Nice work there by Johnson.

Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gadar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Gadar's legs - danger averted.
