I really don't envy Merdian right now.
Rittle has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Merdian's body.

Weiner misses with a double jab.
Weiner walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rakic checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Weiner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rakic swivels and escapes.
As Weiner backs off Rakic throws a huge counter combo but Weiner manages to avoid it all.

and Rakic counters with a crisp one two that drops Weiner! Rakic thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Weiner to his feet! Weiner is in big trouble!

Weiner fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rakic.
Weiner tries to score with a low kick but Rakic moves his leg out of the way.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rakic has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Rakic counters with a nice double leg into side control. Weiner won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Weiner takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wulfgang Bleak!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mokete swings for the body but Bleak moves out of range.
Bleak feints the counter takedown.
Bleak uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mokete.
Bleak with the counter takedown but Mokete avoids it easily.
Bleak stuffs the takedown.

Mokete fails with a takedown attempt.
Mokete takes a swing at Bleak's ribcage but misses.
Bleak lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Mokete throws a right and a left that Bleak avoids nicely.
Bleak drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mokete defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mokete tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bleak swivels and escapes.

Mokete throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Bleak counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bleak postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Mokete is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bleak cracks Mokete with a solid left hand.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bleak looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Mokete can't hide his disappointment, as Bleak celebrates the victory.
